Artist description:

The painting is a prototype for the painting on canvas with the same name (although background is different). The painting stems from a series of works (”NEVER FELT LIKE THIS”) on the rose as a kitschy symbol of love, based on royalty-free stock images found online. This is a seres that I have been working on during the fall 2024.
The paper is coated with acrylics and oils are not in direct contact with the paper.
Notice, as the painting is handmade, it may have imperfections and some textures. It has a glossy surface (see images below).
